Mine don’t look bad, it’s just i don’t put in a lot of detail. You should totally join one of the Forza 6 series that we have.

Its not just that. You put in time on one side of the car and possibly the front. What you can do at that point is:

Bail out & just race around online with a half painted car like I used to see a ton in Forza Motorsport 3 :P

Realize you now have to spend another 30min to replicate all the work you did on the other side (making the total time an hour or more). I want to point out that maybe the clunky editor in Forza Motorsport 3 got improved in Forza Motorsport 6 but I doubt it was able to reduce the time it takes.

I didn’t play Forza 3, but the only significant difference between 4 and 6 is 3,000 layers per side instead of 1,000. Allows for greater detail, but that of course requires more time.

This Porsche is from Forza 4.

Here it is in Forza 6. The only major difference is the watch on the nose has 450 more layers than it had in Forza 4. If shows if they are side by side, but the first one was good enough.

To be exactly like the real car would have taken another load of time I chose not to waist.

I don’t need the number changed, it actually matches the alpine A450 I run in project CARS events. I will be trying to run it at le mans and spa in the oppo endurance championship for which the number sould be fine. I have been trying to find a photo that can show how the black runs off the fin onto the side pod between the rear fenders, but there doesn’t seem to be any shots of this car from above. The best I could find was this (It appears that the sponsors on the bottom of the fin are not on the final livery, this shot is from the unveiling):

35 carries slightly different sponsorship. On the 36 the unreadable logo at the bottom of the black appears to be a reversed reflection of the logo above it. Likely reflected off the inside bulge of the fender.

Yea the 35 is the chinese alpine team. What I was really pointing out was how the black continues off of the fin, down onto the side pods. It appears to run out to the inside edge and up to where the engine cover ends. You can see it on the 35 about 2 inches in from the latch. The pic of the 36 isn’t that good but you can still kinda see it. I just found a collection of photos which contains a couple of photos in the garage where the engine cover is off in the background, lots of other really good photos too. http://de.motorsport.com/team/signatech…

Now that I found that gallery it appears that those sponsor logos I was talking about did make it onto the car (looks like they have 2 covers) with the rear one being a powered by nismo decal.
